Alternatives for steam vacuums solutions?

I wonder if anybody knows if there are any type of house - made solution I could use in Bissell steam cleaning vacuum.
The stuff I usually get in store is so expensive and with 4 cats and 4 dogs it’s almost impossible to afford it for every week cleaning…

I’m not too sure about steam cleaners, but I have a rug shampoo machine. I never buy the solution for the machine, it’s so expensive. I actually use some oxy clean powder instead. I buy a tub of it for $10 and it lasts forever! My rugs come out super clean as well! Just follow the instructions for the water to powder ratio. Good luck!
