We recently just rented one of those steam vacuum to clean all our carpets. In two of our rooms there are these spots that smell like cat pee that definitely weren’t there before. Now both of the rooms reek.

What can we do to make the smell go away? We’ve tried febreeze it doesn’t do much at all. We also put baking soda on the areas that smell then vacuumed it up later, that helped a little but not nearly enough.

Any help is appreciated!

What is a good hand held steam vacuum cleaner? We have dogs, and it’s mud season, so we are looking for a good steam vacuum that we could use on furniture and carpets….

I want both, but don’t have the room for both. I know I have seen one before, but I don’t know where. I always take my shoes off at the door, don’t eat on carpet, etc. etc. Things still get dirty over time.

I am looking for a vacuum/steam cleaner,that vacuums good & when needed I can use the steam cleaner on it. Any ideas?
