I got the one year warranty and all I have to do is takr=e my machine to the Sears service center and if something goes wrong they will add parts and fix it for free!

do yourself a favor and get an affordable extractor. These things leave soap residue behind big time and dont heat the water enough
buy a bissel pro heat one tank to fill and empty and one soap tank wow 2 tanks not 3 AND thay dont leave thos HOOVER lines in the carpet

It depends on what kind of mess. But this machine, the Hoover is great!
Watch the Bissell steam cleaners! Those belts are a bitch! Hoover does not have a belt which is also a plus!
Does it clean with Hot Steam, I mean reallly steam which vaporizes quickly or does it just leave water.
This model cleans with heated water.

this is the same technology Vax UK use….afterall they’re both part of TTI group of companies.
TOO many plastic parts to tear apart just to get to the dang belt on the Bissell models!
Also, customer service people at Bissell were rude as all heck!
@jcal5150 SteamVac Dual V has 2 because the detergent tank is attached to the clean water tank. You’re talking about the Platnium Carpet Cleaner.
My steam Vac doesn’t turn on properly, I accidentally ran over the power cord and now it makes a loud vibration type of sound and has a burnt smoke smell coming out of it, does anybody know if I can buy a new motor to replace this one or do I just have to buy a new steam vac again? Thanks
u should call hoover because i think they can send u a motor but if not you’ll have to take it 2 a repair center or buy a new one hope u can get a motor
Jazzy 25 the Hoover is great! You must be talking about the Bissell!
If you purchase a Bissell, you will be extremely sorry because of the belts and the plastic parts that must be taken apart! When working with the DUAL V, all you have is a removable brush which rinses in hot water and is replaceable! Clean both holding tanks after each use!
If you buy a Bissell, you are wasting your money because for one the parts are cheap and there are many of them and number 2, customer service sucks! Parts are made of cheap arse plastic on Bissell models where as in the Hoover models, parts are easily removed!
