online from one of those lego suppliers.
amm cool!
how do u make it move with the vacaum cleaners on dont have a clue is it sucking or blowing or what!!!!?????
It is sucking. It is exactly like a traditional steam engine where the engine is powered by steam. Since steam would melt a lego engine, the air from the vacuum cleaner is used to power the engine.
It basically is exactly like a steam engine but it uses inverted pressure whereas the steam engine uses direct pressure, the steam. As a result, a similar model steam engine would go the opposite way of this engine since it would be blowing not sucking. Remember it is the difference in pressure that causes this engine to move not the force from blowing.
Higway blues…
Cool! Check out my engines on You Tube. Mit first was an oszillating 2-cylinder doubleaction, too. But it doesn’t need any flywheel and it’s running VERY fast. My second engine is still cooler than the first. It’s a single cylinder and it has valves and is doubleacting, too. But it’s very powerful which is a result of the 4×6 piston.
der läuft viel glatter als die meisten anderen auf youtube, weil die zylinder auf der kurbelwelle rechtwinklig angeordnet sind.
das geht nur, weil die vacuumzylinder auch ziehen.
why do u have big wheels on the side
I don’t really need a wheel. It’s just there to show you that the air is actually rotating something and to be able to have a rpm measurement.
lol i did that once, but it broke apart and all the pieces got sucked into the vacuum.
hahahaha, I never thought of that but that probably could happen.
if its anything like mine, it must have the power to suck the chrome off a trailer hitch lol
music 44th street on garage band! nice touch!
Sounds like SimCity 3000 Music :O
holy cow! that’s like a pneumatic engine nut in reverse 0_o what gave u the idea?
Sim CIty!
Not his idea, it´s Anthony Liekens´s idea.
I built the same engine, it´s like 10 times better if you lube it with some oil,
I figured. But this engine was just a prototype for a bigger engine I built with a bikewheel.
Yeah I clearly said that in my video.
I built a engine exactly as yours but i dont like it because of the low power so im working on a big valve edition at the moment ^^
How to make this
Google “Anthony Liekens”, he has instructions on how to build this. Make sure you buy the right parts though!
i have this song its called “highway blues”
